Socialization of 2019 Curriculum

The Project Implementation Unit of the Islamic Development Bank (PIU IsDB) of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University carried out the Socialization of the 2019 Curriculum with the theme of Food Security on May 2, 2019 in the hall of the Untirta Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) 2nd floor.

The event was opened by PUI-IsDB Executive Director Untirta Dr.Eng. In his remarks, he said “in 2019 we will make food security as a curriculum in every study program or department as a lesson that must be taken by students”. This socialization was also attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. H. Fatah Sulaeman, ST., MT. In his remarks he said “This is a golden opportunity for Untirta to progress and develop through food security.”

The socialization event was attended by all representatives of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and all Department Heads in Untirta.
Food security socialization 2019 explained by Dr. Heni Pujiastuti, M.Pd. as the head of curriculum development, she explained that “Every Untirta graduate must have a JAWARA attitude (Honest, Trusty, Fair, Religious, and Accountable) and must master the latest technological knowledge and basic concepts of food security”.

“Being able to use the infrastructure of computing and software in various scientific fields, as well as being able to use science and technology for food security so that they can be a solution to existing problems,” said Heni.

The socialization material was continued by Maman Fathurrohman, S.Pd.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Coordinator of the Learning Development Center of the Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LP3M), he explained “Rector’s Decree No. 16/UN43/KPT.KR.00.02/2019. The courses offered in the odd semester 2019/2020 (starting July / August 2019) are the courses contained in the 2019 curriculum in SIAKAD “.

Maman closed his explanation by providing information that there are 102 people who have registered to take part in the Training of Trainers (TOT) prospective lecturers supporting the course of food security, of the 102 registered only 30-36 people are needed as teaching lecturers.
